Each headache patient is different from every other. There are hundreds, if not, thousands of variables at play that produce headaches. As doctors we are trained to categorize patients into different headache types like migraine, cluster, tension and so on. But the research strongly suggests that most headache patients have signs and symptoms that overlap our neat little categories. That is why our approach is to evaluate the physiology of each headache patient and attempt to restore each person back towards normal based on his or her examination findings. In our opinion, it is the only approach that makes sense.
