Tension headaches are described as having a tight band or vice around the your head. If you can relate to the picture on the right, you very likely have what is termed a tension headache. We can help you!

Tensions headaches can be constant and last your years. Many of our patients report having daily headaches that never go away.  Chiropractic and/or  Osteopathic manual techniques often provide better relief than drugs, but patients become disappointed because the relief is not long lasting. Recent research has demonstrate that a certain type of abnormal posture is the stimulus that triggers most tension headaches. If you don’t correct this abnormal posture, it is very difficult or even impossible to find long lasting relief from tension headaches. Medications, physical therapy and even traditional forms of chiropractic and osteopathy don’t address this trigger for tension headache. One thing I learned from helping hundreds of headache sufferers over the years is that there is no magic bullet that helps all patients. A headache treatment program must have many tools in the tool box.  Each treatment plan   must be diverse and individually tailored to the patient’s specific needs. Even though 100 patients may have migraine, for example, no two migraine patients are alike. Our approach is to treat the patient, not the diagnosis.
